About this excursion
Marrakech lies inland, roughly a three-hour drive from Agadir according to travel guides, so this is a long day out. It rewards the effort: the city is one of Morocco’s largest and most visited, with a medina, a famous main square and a skyline marked by minarets.
You travel with a guide, and the route covers three stops in the city.
Stops on the route
- Jamaa el Fna: the main square of the Marrakech medina.
- A local market: a chance to see everyday shopping and craft stalls.
- Koutoubia Mosque: the landmark mosque of the city. Whether visitors can go inside is not confirmed, so please do not plan on it.
