About this excursion
Agadir was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1960, so the quickest way to understand the city is to see its layers in one outing: the modern marina, the ruins of the old kasbah on the hill, a working market and a local product. This tour is led by a driver and a guide and follows a fixed route of five stops.
Stops on the route
- Marina: the modern harbour district.
- Agadir Oufella: the ruins of the old kasbah on the hill above the city.
- Mosque: a mosque stop on the route. Whether visitors can go inside is not confirmed, so please do not plan on it.
- Argan oil factory: a stop at a producer of argan oil, a product of the Souss region around Agadir.
- Souk El Had: Agadir’s large market.
What is included
A driver and a guide. If you want to know whether entrance fees, drinks or hotel pickup are covered, ask us before you reserve. We list only what has been confirmed.
Why choose it
With a morning and an afternoon departure, it fits easily around a beach day. Choose it early in your stay to get your bearings, or on a day when the weather keeps you off the sand.
Before you go
These are general suggestions, not conditions. Wear comfortable shoes for walking between stops and bring sun protection. Markets are busy, so keep valuables close.
