About this excursion
Spend part of your day in Agadir cooking rather than only eating. The class is built around Moroccan home cooking: you prepare a meal at a shared table, in aprons, with the vegetables, spices and tagine pots at the heart of the cuisine.
Our photographs from earlier classes show exactly that: guests chopping vegetables side by side at a patterned tile table, and groups gathered around a finished tagine.
Highlights
- A hands-on class at a shared table
- Vegetables, spices and tagine pots at the centre of the cooking
- Choose from the departure times listed at the top of this page
What is a tagine?
The word tagine names both the conical clay pot and the slow-cooked dish made in it, which is why it appears in so many Moroccan recipes. Cooking in a tagine is about layering vegetables and spices and letting the pot do the work.
Before you go
These are general suggestions, not conditions. Come hungry and wear clothes you do not mind getting a little messy. If you have dietary requirements or allergies, or you are travelling with children, ask us before you reserve so we can answer for your group.
